Apple has unveiled the latest additions to its line of devices, including a new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and next-gen iPad.

Recently, Apple event was held in San Francisco to unveil latest products including the iPad Pro, which can be used with the new Apple Pencil, as well as revised Apple TV and its advanced smartphones named as iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.

Apple has revealed its’ larger screen iPad, i.e. iPad Pro, and with it a new chip: the A9X. The 3D 64-bit processor offers twice memory bandwidth and storage performance of A8X, and Apple’s Phil Schiller promises that the new chip gives “desktop-class performance.” Apple’s new A9 processor is expected to power the forthcoming iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus that appears for the first time. Apple has announced that A9X memory bandwidth is twice than that of last year’s A8X and 1.8 times quicker than the 8X processor inside MacBook Air 2. The tablet supports up to 150Mbit/s LTE and 802.11ac MIMO.

Schiller says, “It is faster than 80 percent of the portable PCs that shipped in the last 12 months and in graphics tasks it’s faster than 90 percent of them” at Apple event. Apple is pushing the idea that an iPad with 12.9-inch will permit all sorts of new use-cases for Apple tablets supporting AutoCAD software running on the device with 60fps smoothness and a 3D medical app. Hopefully, this smoothness will deliver a better gaming experience as well. Apple also announced the new A9 chip for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus along with new transistor architecture. The A9 CPU is 70 percent faster than the A8 (“desktop class,” says Apple), while the GPU is 90 percent faster.

In addition to the new A9 chip, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are expected to offer 2GB RAM, next-generation Force Touch technology dubbed “3D Touch,” and improved 12-megapixel rear-facing cameras that is capable of recording 4K video. Apple claims that the new iPad battery will last for 10 hours on a single charge. The device likely has room for a bigger battery by virtue of being bit heavier than the first iPad at 1.57lbs and larger than the Air 2 at 12.9in and 6.9mm thick.
